- If you're visiting my Blog, you probably know a little about me. But, for those new friends I have yet to meet, my name is Ellen and I live in the Central California town of Coarsegold on a beautiful piece of property. In the winter and spring, we have a creek that runs through the property, which is lovely to look at, and is gold-bearing. We do a little panning in our spare time. We are lucky enough to have friends who pasture their horses with us. The horses get the grass and we get the pleasure of watching them, and, of course, carrot feedings. My husband Patrick and I have only one pet right now, a big cat named Buckwheat, who has the job of rodent control, but also enjoys his favorite past-time of napping. Look for photos in the coming weeks. My real-life job is owning a Ladies Clothing Consignment Store in Old Town Clovis, called All of Me. I specialize in plus-size clothing, and also carry shoes, handbags, jewelry and, of course, handmade cards and paper gifts!
